ABOUT HOMEWOOD SNOWBOARDS
First off, we like to have fun because life is short.
Like a trip to your favorite destination, days have a way of slipping through your fingers, leaving you guessing where they went in such a hurry. Still, if you can make your trip worthwhile, you will be left with a lasting impression that time cannot take away. Simply put, we believe in taking advantage of the opportunities before us, no matter how big or small, and enjoying the ride along the way.
Just as importantly, we have faith in our family, friends, and community; and we do our best to let them know we are here for them, no matter what! We believe in the powers of love and sympathy, and are willing to give, not only to our friends and family, but to complete strangers, because no one is more important than anyone, and anyone is capable of anything, if only given eyes to see and believe in their infinite potential.
And, oh, yeah…
We love snowboarding!!!
If you snowboard, you know why. And if you don’t, there’s still time. Let us show you the way… just hit us up for some free lessons, we’re nice dudes, but we are prone to shenanigans after a few Steel Reserves. It is our passion for snowboarding that makes us want to make some positive changes within snowboard culture. We would like to change the “go pro” big ego attitude that is taking over snowboarding; it’s just not real! It is this ‘be number 1′ mentality that is infecting the minds of too many riders, and has you feeling like you’re riding in a competition you never entered. Passion over fashion! Tall tee’s and tight steez’s gotcha down on your knees! Smokin’ trees and drinkin’ PBR does not make you gnar!* Put the nonsense aside and get out and ride! (*In no way do we stand against drinking and smoking, but making booze and weed your image is weak and increasingly cliché.)
Finally, our boards are Made in
the USA, not by robot hands,
but by our own high-five givin’,
make-a-livin’ hands.
Day in and out we work the skin off our digits, it hurts so good! Why do we do this? Because it feels right! Be a Patriot, Buy American!
